Memory Books

I fill antique photo albums with paintings and poetry. These small works on paper in oil or watercolour capture ideas in a familiar, intimate way. These albums hold up to 45 images. I am interested in the patterns and cycles of tradition and learned behaviour. These works remind me of diaries, of self-protection and protecting secrets.
