Greetings. I wanted to share my new paintings recently delivered to Koyman Galleries in Ottawa.

Hopeful Day began after a couple of downer weeks. When I finally was able to start the new canvas the joyful colours and expressive painterly gestures remedied my mood and have put me in good place to head into the winter months.

Call to Action began as a live painting on Pelee Island this past summer for an artist residency with musician Andrew Hendriks and poet Gustav Morin for the Stone and Sky Music & Art Series . You can view a facebook video of the performance here. Once back at the studio the painting developed with multi-layers of figures and personal symbols, sailboats (my aspiration to ‘sail through the day’), flags and thought clouds.
I also have a number of 12 x 12” oil paintings in the Koyman Gallery’s Holiday Show . Koyman Gallery offers free shipping in Canada.
Locally I have new work at the Gallery Upstairs in Milton and Towne Square Gallery in Oakville.
