This past summer June 2021, I had a lovely day at Scotsdale Farm, located on the Treaty Lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation just outside of Georgetown ON. I was painting outdoors (plein air) with artists from the Credit Valley Artisans (CVA) and the Fine Art Society of Milton (FASM). Owl Creek is located north-east of the farmhouse and is a coldwater habitat for Brook Trout. The Creek runs into the Credit River as it flows from Orangeville ON out to Lake Ontario. I grew up playing in the Credit River nearby in Glen Williams ON. I love rivers and creeks.
Owl Creek, Scotsdale Farm is a watercolour, image size 4.25 x 8.5″, paper size 6.25 x 9.25″.

I just had a wonderful winter walk with friends, a few weeks ago, on the Bennett Heritage Trail (part of the Bruce Trail) at Scotsdale Farm. I look forward to exploring the second stream Snows Creek north of the Farmhouse this summer.
