Spring is embodied as a figure enveloped in yellows, greens and pinks in this 6 x 8″ oil on wood panel painting, Spring in Conversation with the Flowers. If you would like to purchase this piece by e-transfer with no-charge local pick up or drop off, please use my contact page.

I worked on this little piece at the same time as the following image of Lean on Each Other, a large 42 x 72″ oil on canvas painting that just recently found it’s way to it’s new home in California.

Figures stretch and take deep breathes, under spring trees in Lean on Each Other, a 42 x 72” oil on canvas painting. Friends, in the central bottom third of the piece are leaning in on each other as they walk together, while a figure to the viewer’s right of them stretches out their arms below row houses.  Moving up the left-hand side of the canvas, in the middle, are people hiking in nature. A central figure in pink is reaching over stretching, resting on the arm of another person in green and blue. Abstract shapes that look like an origami peace cranes are repeated throughout the painting.  A main figure in the top central portion of the canvas has crossed hands under their chin and wears a blue hat under the foliage of a tree, while a smaller figure is piggy-backed across their shoulders looking at what they hold in their hands.
