Sold. Walking Into the New Year

Walking in to the New Year is a small watercolour diptych which I have placed in a two-panel matt.

Each panel is 3.5 x 5” and the matte is 6.5 x 14”. As you can see I’m not a professional framer but I do know not to tape directly onto the artwork 🙂

The left hand painting is full of flowery foliage which slopes down to the right and leads the eye to a warm yellow meadow in the background.

The painting on the right depicts three semi-transparent figures who overlap each other as they walk into the new year and observe the details and surprises of their surroundings.

I painted these two pieces together one afternoon as shown in this time-lapsed video.
