The longest night of the year just passed and to celebrate the Winter Soltice and the coming days of light I was happy be a part of Milestones Celebrants‘ event to benefit Hospice Wellington, an incredible volunteer supported organization that offers exceptional care to people living with the challenges of a life-limiting illness or loss. I was inspired by the beautiful music of the Ondine Chorus and the night’s theme of the Tree of Life as I worked on my live painting throughout the night. This 30 x 40″ acrylic on canvas artwork was auctioned at the end of the night to benefit Hospice Wellington.
